John A. Malitoris

John's career over more than 20 years includes experience as an executive, consultant, entrepreneur, and educator. For 15 years, he has worked in the professional services industry as a senior executive building a growing firm, working as a consultant with executives to enhance the operation and performance of their firms, and, as a coach, helping individual consulting professionals to strengthen their performance and effectiveness with clients.

Most recently, he was the Executive Vice President, Operations of MarketBridge. In three years, he designed and implemented operational processes and systems that enabled the firm to grow at over 30% annually. His responsibilities included human resources, recruiting & staffing, professional development and training, finance and administration.

John has also consulted with professional services firms and major corporations to design, develop and teach educational programs directed at leaders and experienced professionals. These programs have helped individuals and firms improve client satisfaction, enhance business acumen, improve their individual skill sets, and develop a stronger customer and market-facing culture. John has also worked closely with experienced clients as an executive coach to enhance their focus and performance.

In the early 1990's John led the growth of a retail services business from its infancy to over 400 employees in less than three years. As its President, he was responsible for strategic leadership as well as day-to-day operations. The management team was recognized nationally for the success they achieved in revenue growth and profitability.

Over a period of eight years, John worked in the US and Europe in progressive consulting roles leading to partnership. He worked with major clients to improve performance and address critical business problems in areas such as business strategy, organizational change, reengineering, and IT strategy. Early in his career he worked in marketing and management positions for both product and service divisions of a major telecom services provider.

John graduated with BS and MS degrees in Materials Engineering and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
